F40 replica of Culebra International (SCM Motors ,page 286) , 1989 ,USA   The wave of commercial success of neo-classics of 70's to early 80's contributed to the emergence of many body builders, Roaring Twenties Motor Car Company ,USA. The main and more prominent model of this company is a Corsair.       Later, Roaring 20's added to the program a Silvaire neo-classic and Stiletto (Ferrari 308 replica), as well, a project of manufacturing a Peerless replica. In the early 90's the company moved to Addison, Illinois where he was educated McGrath Automotive / Warlock Performance Group and continued production of Corsair Navigator neo-classic and Python (Warlock) roadster in Dodge Viper styled. Official closing of the Clenet Coachworks in 1987 did not mean the disappearance of the brand from the list of manufacturers. A young businessman and admirer of Clenet, producing the opening in San Luis Obispo, CA, and in 1989 appeared Series VII Roadster. Club affiliation Alain Clenet not recognize a motor cars from San Luis Obispo. Thus, Series VII has no official status, and if you open the guide on this topic you will see that the plant existed before 1987. Whatever it was the cars were made and proudly wore the name Clenet. Later the company was renamed as a Dragon Coachworks car was named Dragon Sportster. Now Leonard Rivero refused business and recently sold Clenet parts of its own production. In my observations of the most rare information on this topic refers to the 90's. I do not know why but the literature concerning of 70-80's more common. I chose to search for more detailed information the guide of kit & specialty cars by Curt Scott (Crown Publishing, 1994) as the study of American kit car market. I found a lot of interesting information but unfortunately a number of companies and cars was incomplete information, addresses and phones only, like: Redhead Roadsters ,Triebold Coachwerks ,National Motorcar Corp. ,Nice Car Co ,John's Custom Fabrication ,Infinite Fiberworks Co ,TLC ,Consulier (Mosler) ,Fejer Automobile (Canada) ,Warlock Performance and etc. Also there was no mention of Baci, Thoroughbred Coach Builders, Gatsby and Clenet restart, Lister Corvette, Norwood, Knudsen, D & D Corvette ... I understand that many companies refused to publish information about themselves (the penultimate "dead line" list in this guide). Especially since by that time more than half the manufacturers had ceased to exist (1998). Still, I managed to bridge the information gap and you can see illustrations of these manufacturers, then what went wrong with Curt Scott. My second was a reference book The Big Guide To Kit & Specialty Cars which is quite a fuller and more suitable under the definition of encyclopaedia. But unfortunately there are no illustrations to many projects and kit cars. Also there were no Canadian producers who actually assimlirovany to USA market and in fact created by the American templates.
