The first Nov. 22 post on Scarlatti by bz2001 got me thinking: Would someone have available World Cars Catalogue from 1968 or 1969? I'm seeking a colour pic from there of the De Tomaso Mangusta Spyder. Am not satisfied with the other images of it available online. And they usually get the date wrong: This car was shown at Geneva, 1968--NOT Turin, 1967. Thanks in advance. Merci. |

My appreciation goes to Rajesst. However, when the car was first shown in 1968, it was orange/white, rather than red/white--such pictures are very difficult to find. Yes, it looks like the real car under pics showing the Ban Seng 1/43 model--those 3 photos must be recent. B+W image seems to show the car being shipped to NY Auto Show in Sixties. Am going to attempt posting a German article showing orange colour.   |
