titi39> oui, le 3L essence est prevu pour la version ///M (300ch). Il y aura certainement des versions non ///M en 6 cylindres car si on regarde bien, tous les modeles actuels ont la calandre noire.... ce qui veux dire que la gamme n'est pas complete |

From AutoExpress: REVEALED: BMW'S MPV It's all aboard at BMW, as the firm puts the finishing touches to a new people carrier project. The six-seater family machine will be based on the newly launched X3 off-roader, and will pitch the firm into all-new sales territory. It's being developed in response to the growth in popularity of the mini-MPV market, which has yet to welcome the still-secret B-Class from BMW's arch rival Mercedes in 2005. Company insiders are keen to point out that while the car will go head-to-head with popular mini-MPVs such as the Renault Scenic and Vauxhall Zafira, it will also make the most of the X3's highly developed platform to deliver impressive handling, as well as secure all-wheel-drive traction. What's more, it's instantly recognisable as a BMW, thanks to the influence of controversial head of design Chris Bangle. Codenamed RFK-1 - which stands for Raum Funktionales Konzept or functional space concept - the newcomer will offer a luxurious but versatile interior according to our sources. Initially, the model will have a choice of 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol and diesel engines. However, once the car is established, smaller-capacity four and six-cylinder units from the current 3-Series line-up are likely to join the range. Buyers can expect a debut in 2006 - although the maker's MPV ambitions don't end there. If you're investing millions to develop one car, you may as well create two - and the company is reported to be working on a larger version of the new people carrier. Codenamed the RFK-2, this model is tipped to borrow its platform from the 5-Series and X5. Likely to offer a range of V8 engines, as well as large-capacity diesels, this vehicle will fill the gap left by the cancellation of the X7 project, which had originally been slated to carry BMW into the luxury off-roader market.
